SHIMANO SPD-SL Cleat Set

I seriously doubt this is Shimano product. The quality is horrible. My first pair of cleats lasted for three years. These are two months old in the attached photo. They’re complete junk. They fall apart and aren’t the same stiffness as the original cleat when clipping in or out. Don’t buy them.

Good cleats...normal shimano quality....for the price they are def worth it...the zero drift is definitely better than the 6 degree.

I really do like my Ultegra SPD-SL pedals and cleats much better than the Looks I used previously, mostly because you can actually walk on the cleats without slipping and breaking your neck. However, they do wear out over time and need to be replaced. It is worth it to me to get the Shimano brand cleats. This is one of those cases where it is worth it to get the genuine article - I wont risk having a no-name cleat break on me just to save a couple of bucks. I am knocking off a star because I just think that $20-$25 is a little more than they should cost.

The plastic yellow tabs came off after the 3rd ride and the bolts constantly come loose. Ive never experienced this type of poor performance from Shimano cleats before. The plastic is very soft and mars quickly after only two rides. I question if these are genuine Shimano products or not. Packaging looked legitimate, but the durability is really not there.

Authentic and work great. Be aware of the alternative brands out there. I bought a set of generics, saved maybe 7 bucks, but they didnt last. So stick with the originals! They work great. I love the yellow ones because they give me a little more lateral movement. I have a very stiff ankle and these pedals make it easier to click out of them on either direction, i.e. heel in or heel out.

You just cant beat Shimano products. Even the cost was great.
