I wanted to get a pair of bone conduction headphones as I run a lot and have a dog who needs lots of walks. I didnt want something that stopped me from being able to hear traffic or the surrounding noise and thats exactly why these are great. I can still be aware of whats going on around me without losing any sound quality. They are not great for phone calls though which is a shame as I wanted to also use them for work, but thats why they have the specific version available.

I have had it less than 2 months, I dont use it but a couple hours a week and it already died. Cheaply made not worth the money.

Big fan of Shockz headphones, been using for 5+ years. Would still recommend based on past buys BUT mic quality on these OpenRuns is awful compared to my older Trekz. Unusable for calls / voice memos. Also - abandoning industry standard usb charger is a mistake. V disappointed.

This is a long-term review - first pair originally purchased in the spring of 2020. They work great in providing decent-sounding music while enabling awareness of ones surroundings. I use them when running, and while its tough to hear exactly what folks may be saying when the music is playing, I can easily hear that there are voices, or a car / bike coming up from behind, etc. Bluetooth connection to various iPhones have been flawless; occasionally some challenges w/ an Apple Watch, though it certainly may be an issue w/ the Spotify app. Great for all weather.

I have paired it with my work laptop and my phone. I am using it for remote work calls. I use it for light background music while working or music/podcasts while walking. They are easy on my ears. I can have conversation with others even with music running on them,
