> 3 dayI let my horses wear them all day and night and only take them off to ride them. They do great with them! No sore spots from them rubbing. They stay on when they are super dirty and clean easily with just a garden hose. Highly recommend. Will be buying more

> 3 dayThese are worth every penny. My horses tend to be able to get everything off. They have had these on in pasture for several weeks. They wash clean easily and seem to not impede movements. Are made if breathable material and good velcro. Most importantly they work. Flys do not get down in them. And they do not rub the horses hair off or create pressure spots.

> 3 dayMy quarter horse mare appreciates these! Occasionally she gets them off when/if the velcro gets muddy but otherwise well made. Ive seen people use other cheaper brands and they dont hold up as well as these do. Expensive but worth it.

> 3 dayHands down, these are the best leg protection for flies on the market. They stay up, they don’t rub, and they save your shoeing cost by keeping your horse from constantly stomping. They last a summer season of being constantly worn, maybe a bit longer. LOVE them. The imitation ones are not worth it.

22-11-2024I purchased these leggings, mostly because I have seen other people use them on their horses. They looked like they stood up far better than all the other leggings that I had bought. My horse was being eaten alive by flies while trying to recover from hoof troubles (so I would rather he not stomp) and then the vet said he had scratches on his legs as well. These leggings are a relatively rigid cone with velcro that straps around the horses leg. The leggings sink down just enough to cover the top of the hoof, which the other ones I have, didnt. It basically acts as a long thin bell over their leg. The flies dont crawl down the bell and the leggings dont rest or are not strapped against the horses legs. My horses scratches are healing and his legs get the air they need to stay dry. I would love to get these for my mini donkeys also if I didnt think the donkeys would just try to rip them off. I have the standard velcro strap leggings that droop down (even though the ads say they dont) and the tops of their feet are exposed to the flies. My only con for these is the price. I think they could sell them for half and still be making a good profit.

Greater than one weekMy two horses are out 24/7 field board. Ive used these for four years on my horses. They are absolutely the best solution for flies, bots, and stomping on the market. No impairment of circulation like some other fly boots, and they clean up easy with a scrub brush. That said, despite NOT putting them in the washer, the set I bought this year hasnt even made it through the summer, whereas I have old sets from four years ago that are ratty but still intact. Ive had two plastic stays tear through the bottom of the boots this year and had to discard them, and the stays dont seem to be as sturdy. I sure hope the manufacturer reads these reviews and improves their quality a bit--theyre pricey to only last half a year.
