They work better than any fly boot I have bought however my horse was able to remove and tear one of them on the first day. Despite measuring my horse I believe I still purchased 1 size to big. My 15.3h American QH is probably a size small. I purchased a Medium which will fit and stay put as long as Im careful where the Velcro attaches.

They’re the only fly boots that stay up and don’t rip apart immediately. They do sometimes collect manure on the back legs. So you have to check for that every day. They “lasted” all summer, but are still pretty beat up and I’ll need new ones next summer so the price is a little high I think, but low enough I guess I’ll still buy them.

We have only used them for a few days. So far they seem like a good purchase and are easy to put on the horses and are protecting their legs from biting flies.

Shoofly Leggins are easy to put on and stay up all day with no slouching. Definitely worth the money.

These work exactly as advertised, and have really cut down on foot stamping. The only issue have with them is trying to get mud out of the mesh can take some work when washing them. Now I take them up to the car wash and use the high pressure hose t clean them.

My 22 year old quarter horse had an issue chipping his hooves in the summer from stomping and pawing at flies. With these boots he hardly stomps and his hooves have had the chance to grow out. He doesn’t mind wearing them and they’re easy to put on/take off. Definitely recommend to anyone trying to keep their horses more comfortable during fly season.

So far they are holding up well. They work great at keeping flies off legs and are taller than other boots which I really like. Hopefully they last.
