> 24 hourI needed a good mic for my vocals, having gotten back into guitar and such. A long time ago (60s) I used a Shure Unidyne b and liked it. I figured I probably wouldnt go wrong getting an updated model. I was right. This is an excellent mic with a full range and great tonal qualities.

> 24 hourSM58 can handle anything thrown at it except for the top 10% or maybe 5% of powerhouse vocalists. Its the absolute perfect mic for anything below that or background vocalists. If you have a powerhouse or chernobyl vocalists they probably need a shure 87 or it will sort of spit out some harshness and distortion. Thats why I give her 4 stars but anything else avg or above avg vocalist the 58 is perfectly designed and fine.

> 24 hourGreat quality bot build and in use. One thing I didnt really see here, for fun I tried it on my iPad Pro with a USBC to USB converter and worked really well. It did however try to use the headphones for output so you need to unplug to hear music on the built in speakers.

> 24 hourThis baby is a great addition to my podcasting equipment. I like the sound, feel and clarity. I used Shure products years ago and they are still top notch. For the money this is a great product.
