Theres a reason you see so many big name performers using Shure microphones. Theyre simply the best. I will say, it only took one drop for the mesh to be dented but its hard to find a mic that wont do that. Sound quality is extraordinary.

I got a defective item. The on off switch is broken. This feedback is for more for Amazon rather than for the product. I know Shure SM58 is an excellent product. Unfortunately Amazon sent me a defective one. However the customer support is awesome and they placed a replacement order with out any charge. But it certainly is disappointing to get a defective product. The switch on this one looks like its made of very cheap quality material. I should have gone for the one without the switch.

Excellent quality. Can not go wrong with Shure. Also the On Off switch is a great help and dont have to rely on the sound board technician to turn it on or off.
