compared side by side sound wise with sm48. spend the extra money for the sm58. it’s much better.

We have 8 of these installed in our Council Chamber for meetings. Solid mic for the money and provides better sound than others tested at the same price. These used exclusively for spoken word and are used in conjunction with a Shure SCM-800

Was very surprised at the amount of sound this mic picks up! I though for sure Id need a cloudlifter or something but this thing is almost too sensitive! It doesnt even seem like a dynamic mic. I have a bad mixer right now so hard to say for sure but you cannot beat this value! I wish there was an option for an all black design instead of the silver end cap though. I purchased the mic with integrated in off switch and dont regret it!
