Sigma 30mm F1.4 Contemporary DC DN Lens for Sony E

This is a good beginning prime lens for apsc sony cameras. I use this for street photography which is great. Would reccomend if you are coming from kit to a prime lens for this price.

Not very happy with the lens. Autofocus is considerably sluggish and isnt stable. Whats more sad is that it keeps loosing the focus even when the subject is completely still.

Arrived quickly, new product and anxious to use it! thks

Es un excelente lente para retrato, con gran capacidad de iluminación (F 1.4) pero con un motor de enfoque ligeramente ruidoso.

Me gustó mucho el lente, quizá un poco grande pero aceptable. Le va bien a mi alfa 6000 y es buena combinación. Totalmente recomendable por su calidad y precio. No te arrepientes de la compra!!!

No le doy las cinco estrellas por el hecho de que el foco automatico a veces falla un poco. A parte si pones la cámara en foco manual este objetivo se adapta a la rapidez que muevas el anillo de enfoque, es decir si mueves el anillo de enfoque muy rapido el foco tambien se mueve rapido (independientemente de las vueltas que hayas dado antes), y si lo mueves muy lento el foco se moverá muy lento tambien (puedes dar varias vueltas al anillo). No es como uno totalmente manual, como los Samyang por poner un ejemplo.

Great lens and fantastic price!!

I got this for my Sony camera (A6500) and I use it all the time. The focus is quick and sharp and the build quality is really nice. Really glad I got this. For me I mostly use this for video. Highly recommended as an alternative to an official Sony lens.
