Sigma 30mm F1.4 Contemporary DC DN Lens for Sony E

Though not the fastest of the bunch this lens give my m4/3 cameras a boost when the light starts to go down. I love the micro contrast and the sharpness, though I havent used it so much. I find the 60 mm FF equivalent a rather versatile FL which can be used for street photography and for head and shoulders portraiture. The autofocus is pretty fast with both my Oly and Panasonic cameras (E-PL1/E-PM1, G3 and G6). One minor issue is the delay of about two seconds at start up. I confirem the rattle shaking when the camera is switched off (its a known non-issue).

We were unsure of the brand at first (wed always stuck with sony lenses for our sony camera). But glad we chose to try sigma. Autofocus works fine and the clarity is far better than the sony lenses. It could be that our sony lenses are just getting older but after a few photos we were stunned by how sharp the image was.

For every type of photo, this is my go to. Love it. The details are great even at low light. With a tripod, you are set and ready for anything.

Crazy sharp. It’s a better photography lens than it is for video, the autofocus is not the best ever so keep that in mind. Other than that, it’s a bargain, you doubt be disappointed, just really great. And oh yeah, bokeh.

Leider habe auch ich das Problem, dass der Autofokus (af-s) bei Blende f2 nicht funktioniert. Klar, da kann man drumherum arbeiten, aber es bleibt das Risiko dass im Eifer des Gefechtes im kritischen Moment die Schärfe fehlt.

la gamme sigma pour les sony a6000 (jai la 6400) est une tuerie.

Seguramente muchos de vosotros estais comparando este con el de Sony. Al final me quede con el de Sony por el tamño.
