Sigma 30mm F1.4 Contemporary DC DN Lens for Sony E

The autofocusing...the sharpness...the bokeh...I absolutely LOVE this lens! I can go on and on, but to keep it short and simple, this is a very reliable lens, it has easily become my go to lens when Im out and about, oh and its absolutely amazing at low light as well.

I bought this lens on a whim for my Sony A6000, looking to upgrade from the kit lens, and it hasnt left the body since. 30mm is the perfect focal length on this camera (equivalent to about a 45mm focal length with crop factor taken into account). Purchase immediately if you are looking for a fast, good, cheap prime for your Sony A6000.

As many have said, this might just be the best prime lens for Sonys E-Mount / APS-C cameras. I use it on my Sony A6000, and its amazing. Quick pros and cons:

Bought this lens for my Sony A6300 a few months ago. Using it for both photo and video but primarily video. Its nicely built as weve come to expect from Sigmas Art and Contemporary series. The picture quality is amazing, really sharp and the contrast & colors are very pleasing and natural to look at. Not quite on the Sigma Art level but certainly close which is amazing given the price. Like mentioned by many others, its great in lowlight with a minimum aperture of 1.4 or if you simply want that shallow depth of field look. Sharp all the way through pretty much, I mainly shoot between 2.0 and f 11.
