Sigma 30mm F1.4 Contemporary DC DN Lens for Sony E

SOOOO beautiful in low light! 30mm is an amazing all around photo lens, but no zoom can be a bummer at times. Especially with video. Video is cinematic and absolutely stunning, but no OIS makes a tripod helpful, or a gimbal if youre going all out!

Great lens if you are willing to sacrifice flexibility for (almost) pro image quality, while keeping the price low. Sharp wide open, it further improves at f3.5/4, focuses fast on my a5100. Makes it a good combo to shove in a bag. Good focal length for food & street photography in my opinion. Takes good portraits, just avoid closeups. The max aperture provides some separation and decent bokeh, but do not expect thin in focus area at this focal length. Lightroom recognizes it and corrects it just fine.

...macht dieses Objektiv einen hervorragenden Eindruck! Es fühlt sich sehr hochwertig an und passt sich der NEX 6 mit seinen schwarzen Elementen perfekt an. Der Fokusring ist gummiert-geriffelt und läuft sehr, sehr leise, geschmeidig und flüssig. Das Fokussieren im manuellen Modus ist extrem exakt und fehlerfrei.

I bought this $149 lens for my Sony NEX Camera primarily because it was much smaller than the Sony 18/55 mm lens. I read a large number of reviews and many were positive. Based on my own comparisons, Id say this lens provides about the same quality photo as does Sonys. But not the case in low light situations where Sonys stabilization built into their lens makes a difference.

Ich gezögerte, dieses Objektiv zu kaufen - die Hinweise auf die Qualitätsstreuungen bei SIGMA hatten mich abgehalten. Der aktuelle Preis von rund € 100,-- hat mich dann doch verführt... Zum Glück!

Pour moi le meilleur objectif pour mon Sony A6400. Autofocus hyper silencieux et rapide. Un piqué et un bokeh excellent par rapport au kit Lens. Gimbal et trépied obligatoire pour un résultat optimal. Il ne quitte plus mon appareil pour mes vidéos.

Extremely sharp lense, Great upgrade for the a6000

Die perfekte Ergänzung zu meiner Alpha 6000! Endlich scharfe Bilder mit denen ich in Konkurrenz zu meinen Vollformat-Kollegen treten kann. Nur das Sigma 60f2,8 hatte mich bisher als Alternative überzeugt, war mit effektiven 90+ mm aber zu lang für Strassenfotographie.
