> 24 hourThis M2 NVME SSD drive is incredibly fast and well built with a 5-year warranty. Very well packaged to prevent damage. The Crystal Disk Mark scores pretty much say it all. This is installed in a 10th gen Intel Core i5 Acer laptop with 8 GB RAM. Pretty much everything is virtually instantaneous (standard stuff...no games). With the discount coupon, this was about half the price of similar speed SSDs.

> 24 hourThe MSI GL62M series of notebooks offers a dual M2 slot SATA/PCI-e. Using the PCI-e option as a boot drive requires some effort; but, the problem is not in the SK hynix. It has to do with the bios and configuration of of the computer.

> 24 hourAlas! My computer cannot utilize the full benefits. The TBW is great for the 1tb and the speed is also great. However, I already have an nvme on my primary computer and this one was for my second pc. However, this pc does not get the peak speed, roughly 1Gbps write, whereas tested on my first pc, I can see write speed of an average 2.5Gbps. Please make sure your system can handle the speed of this nvme, otherwise you’re better-off with a cheaper brand. I had to return this nvme but can surely recommend it to anyone who has a supporting hardware capable of utilizing its full potential.

> 24 hourUnder the chip shortage, Samsung is secretly switching controller for 970 evo plus. 980 evo dont even have a DRAM. WD is switching parts without telling customer. Crucial is doing the same. SK hynix is the only one who is not doing this YET. Get it before its too late. Dont buy Samsung lastest SSD unless you can find pre 2020 ones.

> 24 hourSince I dont currently have an M.2 slot available in my PC, I am using this 500gb SK Hynix M.2 SSD as an external drive via a separate enclosure. The benchmark results reflect slower speeds than those you would get with this drive installed in your PCs M.2 slot. Even so, this is a blazing fast drive that makes data transfer between devices fast and easy, which is why I like using the external enclosure with these.
