> 3 dayMy HP Omen desktop came with a 256GB SSD and I wanted to upgrade to a 1 TB one. I opened up the PC and got the manufacturer info off the existing SSD. I wasnt familiar with SK Hynix but as it had worked for me 100% without a problem for the year I have the PC I decided to get the 1TB chip and give it a try.

> 3 dayOne reviewer made a big deal about the price of these drives, saying that SK Hynix was lying about the price of these devices. They werent lying. I bought two of these in late November for under $110, each.

> 3 daySSDs are a dime a dozen and the gold standard. Performance wise this is upper tier. I can confirm after going to install windows from my USB 3 flash drive on my new build, I had windows fully installed and booting in less than 10 minutes. Thats ridiculous.

Greater than one weekAlmost as fast as a 970.

Greater than one weekI got this as internal storage for myself, and used it as the sole drive on a new build as well. It works wonderfully. Fast, and reliable.

> 3 dayI set up Windows using the free cloning tools that came with the SK hynix SSD. The process was very easy and intuitive: All I did was click a series of Next icons and cloning was complete within 40 minutes. I don’t tend to expect much from bundled software but was very satisfied with this particular software. I was pleased with the quick and easy migration, as well as the SSD’s performance itself. My system is definitely running much faster than before – I can say that for sure even without benchmarks.

Greater than one weekVery fast. Only caveat is that it didn’t come with the screws to mount the hard drive. I had to buy some separately to install it on my mobo

> 3 dayI had a laptop with a 256GB NVME that was nearly full, and this was the largest the laptop would accomodate. With and external drive case to duplicate, it was an easy swap. Very highly rated for this capacity in a 3rd gen NVME
