19-04-2025Doesn’t come with the M2 screws to mount and also doesn’t come with the software. However, if you google the cloning software name in the listing you’ll find the download link. Ultimately, a solid value for a nice drive. But would be so much better if they included a screw and the download link for the software. Cloning software was a breeze to use.

> 3 dayI have used SK hynixs other SSD before and I have never had any issues with them. Like usual, I was able to get the rated speeds. I will update this review as I start filling out the SSD more.

Greater than one weekMy HP Omen desktop came with a 256GB SSD and I wanted to upgrade to a 1 TB one. I opened up the PC and got the manufacturer info off the existing SSD. I wasnt familiar with SK Hynix but as it had worked for me 100% without a problem for the year I have the PC I decided to get the 1TB chip and give it a try.

> 3 dayI initially didnt realize the speeds on this thing were as fast as they were. I needed an NVME device mainly for storage purposes, so speed wasnt of the essence with this. Well, after testing this thing, I immediately swapped out my old NVME gaming SSD and changed it for this one. Good grief. This thing beat my Samsungs write speeds. It ALMOST beat the read! It was a no-brainer really. I will be building a monster PC here in the next few months. I will be looking to get 4 more of these SSDs unless someone else comes out with something better. Im just blown away by this. I shouldnt be surprised though. Im just not used to seeing Hynix kick out their own storage. As it stands, SK Hynix is the worlds second-largest memory chipmaker behind Samsung. If anything, it makes sense these SSDs are so solid. You just cant go wrong picking this up. Its likely one of the best you can get atm. Dont let this pass you by.

> 3 dayI have the hymix p31 gold and the evo 970 plus ..both 500gb...The are neck in neck as far as benchmarks BUT the hynix blows away the samsung as far as iops by almost achieving its factory rating while with the samsung, the iops are about half of their claim, especially the read iops..The other area the hynix far exceeds the evo is temps... it runs wayy cooler as in 20c cooler than the samsung..it barely gets warm with a heatsink on it. Lastly and sadly, it will Not in any way work in a mac...at all.. it will prevent mac from booting, even if u have a working mac drive installed...the hynix will cause a kernel panic over driver issues and firmware...i tried everything and its a pity becuz I was going to choose it over the evo after comparing both but I want to use it to dual boot windows and mac and while it works sweet in win 10, its a no go for any mac use...I checked everywhere for firmware updates for the hynix becuz i have a limited window to try and then return it...no joy.. noone mentions it although hynix has acknowleged that its incompatible with mac..they offer no fix.. what a shame.. it will probably have a firmware update but I may have to return mine b4 that.. Im not gonna keep it Hoping that hynix will fix the issue later.
