Got these to stop my rapidly evolving toddler from opening the door and accidentally letting our animals out. So far so good. Easy to put on and use. I feel like if he was an older kid he could probably brute force it if he wanted to, but its perfect for now!

Worked good for a while until I went outside and the mechanism sprung into lock mode!. My sliding door wouldn’t open! Be very careful where you mount it! I had to yank the door opened to break the lock!

I put this lock on my bathtubs sliding glass door which has a surface that isnt flat or soft and it still stuck tightly on glass. Right away I was able to test it on my toddler and he was not able to slide the door open. This is a huge relief in my previous worries about his safety! I like to crack my sliding door but my dogs tend to lean on my screen so I use this to open it just enough for air flow and only their noses to poke through and give the air a sniff. They attach easily, are sturdy enough and are easily removable. Nice solution to my issue.
