> 3 dayUsed as extra security on the front windows of my home and my sliding glass door. It also works as a great lock on my window that has an AC window unit in it.

> 3 dayThey work perfectly, and are so easy to install & use! I apparently didn’t read the description very well though because I got four of them instead of one lol.

> 3 dayWeve added these to our doors for summer that lead to our pool. We have a lock plus floor lock on it but it still makes me nervous. It adheres well. it was a bit crooked and was a pain to get off to put a new one on more straight. So it WILL stick to the glass surface and wont come off without REALLY trying hard. Im not sure how well it will work but we will try it.

> 3 dayI am unsure how you can determine this beforehand but the lock is too thick for my sliding door. In the closed position, the door should be able to open and slider over it. So, open the package carefully and do not adhere to the glass until you check to make sure your door can still open when the safety lock is in the closed position.

> 3 dayThis worked for me immediately. We have multiple sliding glass doors in our home. Our two year old quickly figured out how to open and unlock them, which is an issue. One of my biggest fears was the doors being opened at night without my knowing and an accident occurring. These instantly took that worry away from me. I was very skeptical about these working because so many times something claims to be childproof then isn’t. However these are strong enough that my two year old can’t open the door when In use. I will say that I don’t think these are suitable for older children that can reach via chair or other means. They are very easy to close, and aren’t difficult to figure out. If my toddler could reach, he would be able to close the latch and open the door. So keep that in mind. BUT for us, and for now, these work great.

Greater than one weekOur 4 grandkids came for a visit and we were worried about the kids getting into the pool area. Works great

Greater than one weekMy little guy is a runner so I was looking for something to put on the sliding door. These are the absolute best. We have one on our sliding door and it has stopped him from opening and running out the door many times now. One of my best purchases for sure.

> 3 dayIt does work for locking a sliding door or window but it is hardly a child proof lock, to deactivate the lock all you have to do is push the cap down and then you can open the door/window, so if you don’t install it high enough your kid will easily deactivate it, it would make soooo much sense if you needed to push the lateral buttons at the same time while you push the cap down in order to deactivate it, that way even if the child reaches the lock it would be really difficult for them to unlock it. Also as other comments say, the glue is super strong so lets say it was good that I only needed 1 lock and it came 4 of them because as I try to install it for the first time I barely place it for a second against the window and it got instantly super glued, I needed to move it a little bit to the left and it was really hard to take off and install another one again. As I said, it keeps the door from opening but not really happy with the purchase overall.
