My two very active boy cats Sugar pie and Remy can really destroy a litter box. This product is Nice & strong. Holds lots of liter for a quick and easy clean up.

Non-Stick Aluminum.... I dont think so. Litter sticks to it the same way it did to the one it replaced.

I should have gotten this one in the first place!! Never again will I buy the cheap plastic cant clean always breaking scoops...… The metal one holds up to even the heaviest of waste!! Easy to rinse off and even easier to wash, does not hold the smell of the litter or the waste of the cat!! NO more plastic smelly scoops!! YAY!! Last scoop I will ever buy.. well for myself, I might buy some for my cat owner friends and get some and donate to the local shelters that have a lot of boxes to clean!! :)

This is a very sturdy comfortable scooper. I was tired of using the cheap plastic one I had which took forever as it hardly held anything and the items would fall off the mound of litter as I was trying to sift. This just grabs a bunch and sifts quick. The other one was uncomfortable and flimsy, this one is very sturdy and comfortable. You can see how much bigger it is than the one I had. With its sturdiness you can push through the litter and heavy clumps whereas the plastic one would bend and you had to be careful not to fling or break the scooper. Stuff also tends to stick much less on this one than the other.

Pluses: It came promptly. The shorter handle than my cracked plastic one is less unwieldy. Definitely more ergonomic. Nice that the handle is gentler than metal. Minuses: As mentioned in headline, I wish the sifting slots werent so wide for escaped bits of poop or pee clods. After a zillion cat litter tries, especially for those of us with allergies or asthma, the zero-clay Garfield corn & something litter is my favorite & you can see if the excretions look abnormal & it makes perfect pee clod sculptures, lol, although occasionally shreds of the edges escape the clod so sometimes dont get picked up 100% first try & slip through the slots. While this scooper feels good, strong, it is so strong that the whole cat box started moving, covering the litter cat throws out on leaving box. Some of my points wont matter to many, Im guessing, but if you have a bad back, knee, muscle weakness, you might want to consider that.

My only problem is this is a bit cumbersome when working the angles in the box. It is heavy because its made well but that some what challenges the sifting. The perk is this may not break down like the plastic ones. A win for those wishing to go away from the plastic types

I think its absolutely unnecessary for a cat litter scoop to be this large, thick or heavy, and its too early to say whether all this bulk actually makes it sturdy, but it is an absolute beast. XD Im thinking of using it in the garden and getting something else for cat litter.

If you are used to using the cheaper plastic scoops you may wonder why you need a metal scoop. It is easier to use overall. You can exert more pressure to be sure youre sifting through all of the litter. It wont snap off mid scoop like the plastic ones. Far better overall

Easy grip, large, sturdy and strong. This replaced the plastic pooper scooper I had that cracked and was broken. Highly recommend this pooper scooper!!
