I have an older cat that fills his box daily with huge clumps. The cheapy plastic scoops Ive used my whole life couldnt hold up, prompting a search for a solution. Who knew they made these? Why doesnt the whole world know about these? Best thing since sliced bread as they say. Its a bit large for my hands but given the job it has to do, its the best thing ever. Great quality! Stop wondering about it and get one! Its a no brainer.

Life-changing? Maybe a bit strong, but I wish Id purchased a sturdy scooper like this long ago....instead of a multiude of plastic/supermarket ones with handles that break so easily. HUGE scooping area, yet its well-balanced handle-wise makes it easy to use. I have two cats and though Id never thought of scooping their litter box as drudgery, I had no idea how much easier and more pleasant it could be. Seems to be very well made - Im sure it will last for years.

Pet stores, at least in my experience, do not have very much variety. They are either too large or too small, and the slits to sift the litter are too small to shake out the excess. THIS ONE IS PERFECT!!! The right size, sturdy, and best of all, the openings to sift the litter are big enough to sift out all of the clean litter, yet small enough to contain even the smallest of poops! I highly recommend this.

If you have senior cats, you know they drink massive quantities of water and then need to eliminate said water, likely in a litter pan. Both of our senior cats have medical issues (one being diabetic) so the water intake and elimination is exacerbated further. I finally upgraded to this scooper, and it is worth every penny (its not even expensive). It does a great job shoveling out the truly unbelievable quantities of pee my cats are capable of producing. Often the litter is so saturated it was difficult to remove with a decent sized and heft plastic scoop without it beginning to buckle under the weight. The litter would also get stuck in the gratings and require repeated banging or scraping against the side of the litter pan to get it off. This scooper handles the wet urine patties much better - a little still gets stuck when navigating some of the biggest clumps but they are huge so this is to be expected - but the litter comes out much more easily. Also it is such a generous scoop that you can take out giant clumps in full without them breaking up and spilling the urine-saturated litter back into the pan you are trying to clean. I browsed several models before settling on this one and liked that this model is smooth-edged vs with teeth at the end which I think would just cause the wet litter to cling to and scratch the pan itself. The only cons for this scoop for me are that it is a bit hard on the wrist because its heavy and Im using it to scoop heavy piles of wet litter but its worth the sacrifice to actually have a scooper that can manage my cats truly astounding boulders of pee. P.S. It works just fine on the poop too.

This is the best litter box scooper Ive ever bought. It is made of solid metal. Its not to heavy to hold and it works great when scraping the bottom of the litter pan. I have three cats and three litter pans and this scooper makes my life a lot easier. I would definitely buy it again as well as recommend it to others.

I recently went looking for a metal cat litter scoop and purchased this one. It is a little larger than I was expecting. When using the scoop you can feel the hand-grip flexing in the middle. This is because the metal only goes halfway into the rubber hand-grip. The remainder of the hand-grip is solid rubber. While I dont really have an issue with this I do with the overall length of the scoop. I have an extra large and high (11) litter box. The length of this scoop is the same as the width of the litter box. This makes it a little difficult scooping from the sides. While it does the job if I had it to do over again I would have purchased a smaller scoop. But if you are looking for a large scoop, this will probably do.

We love these scoops. They handle the toughest cleanup job so much better than plastic scoops that break easily. I wish the holes were slightly smaller so you can pick up the small debris, but overall this is the best scoop I have found and at a reasonable price. We have 3 of them to cover our 4 boxes.

I was scooping litter for a neighbors cat which bent my old metal scooper. I received my new Snugens litter scooper and when using it for the first time was amazed by how sturdy it was. It was slightly larger in size than my previous scooper but worked so much better with less effort! I love it!!

I bought this scooper after I snapped my old plastic one in half mid scoop and cat poop went everywhere haha! This metal scooper is definitely worth the buy and I don’t think I will ever have to buy a new one again! It’s super sturdy, easy to hold and cuts my scooping time in half because of the size! 10/10 would recommend

I wanted to get a more durable litter scoop that was easy to wash & sturdier than the plastic ones. This scoop works really well & is quite sturdy. I really like the long handle too. The biggest problem I have with it though is that while the scoop is great at filtering medium/large pieces of clumped litter; it doesnt do well with small pieces. The slits in the scoop are just a bit to wide, so the smaller pieces just gets filtered through. I found that the smaller pieces tend to cause the litter to smell quicker & I end up changing the litter more often that I would prefer. If the slits closer to the handle was slightly narrower, it would be a much better design. The slits closer to the end of the scoop is perfect the way it is, which could filter the bigger pieces while the slits at the back of the scoop filter the smaller pieces. I decided to return the product, however; when I went through the return process, I found that I would ONLY get $3.44 back AFTER shipping return fees (which is $6.44) are applied. Since its isnt worth getting back ONLY $3.44, I decided to keep the scoop. I guess I will use it for something else, even though Im not sure what as yet. I supposed I could use it scooping litter; but Ill still have the same problem with the smaller clumped pieces; so the scoop isnt exactly what I wanted. So what did I learn from this purchase??...Make sure to find products thats Prime & has free returns!!
