> 3 dayVery lovely as Sony makes fantastic products. Noise-canceling is amazing . Earcups are soft and easy on the ears. The headband cant really feel on and thats wearing it for over 8 hours when I first got them—worth every penny spent.

> 3 dayIm a headphones fiend, have probably owned over 70, and these are the most comfortable Ive ever worn. I was impressed with the comfort of the Bose 35ii and Bose 45 but these are next level. Also they do everything theyre meant to: great sound quality, noise canceling, battery life. Some people complain that they dont fold up but I could care less. The only thing Im not crazy about is how they look but thats just my personal opinion, I know many people think theyre stylish. I think they have a Space Balls vibe. But damn theyre great.

> 3 daySo the description says Silver but it’s more a dark/neutral cream color so didn’t love that. I had to download a separate app just to pair this which I thought was annoying because I had to setup a whole other account password etc so it didn’t feel compatible it felt like when you have to buy an AUX cord to connect to your car And quite often my phone would seek out my AirPods over my new headphones so that was inconvenient The sound is great and the noise cancellation is good it’s just not suited for people who have 10 apple products and one non Apple product

> 3 dayIf you have the XM3/4 its not worth the upgrade and heres why: The biggest killer for me is its pauses audio when Im talking, this is extremely annoying. There is nothing I found in their Android app to fix this problem. The headband in narrower than the XM3/4 and therefore more uncomfortable. For the price, seriously Sony, you couldnt add a bigger battery and/or wireless charging? The XM5 anc (noise cancelling) wasnt that much better and it was actually a little worse than the XM3/4 when it came to the dreaded landscapers two-stroke buzz buzz test.... Definitely not worth $400, and not even $350 if you already have an XM4.

> 3 dayI want to start off by saying the sound quality is good and the noise cancelling is okay,i honestly do not get all the rave and 5 stars reviews, maybe it’s just me? These feel cheap to me,they are lighweight (which is a plus) but the material makes it feel like $30 walmart headphones.Since we’re on the topic of prices, these are heavily overpriced,i mean are you guys just all filthy rich to spend $400 on these headphones(seeing as they feel cheap) and be okay with it?I wouldn’t pay more than $200 for these headphones (which is what they should be priced at) so yeah i did end up returning them, the main issues being the price and the fact that they feel cheap. Also i found it to be a pain having to connect these to my phone everytime, whenever they were off my head for 5 minutes they’d go into sleep mode which was a pain in the as$ because i’d have to open the app, press the power button,go on my settings and try and reconnect them,i wish they would connect more faster like airpods that connect instantly,so yes these get a 3/5 stars for me

08-06-2025The Apple headphones max are a far better value for superior quality and function.
