> 3 dayIve installed a few of these racks in small spaces to hold various networking equipment. They are easy to hang and are light weight, so I can do it by myself. The only thing to watch is that your equipment is shallow enough. Full size Ubiquity switches have issues, otherwise pieces like the Dream Machine or the non-Pro switches seem to work well. It comes with some basic mounting hardware which is useful, but sometimes I need to replace the wall mounts with anchors.

> 3 dayNot too bad for a cheap network rack. The holes on mine perfectly lined up for 16 inch studs so no modifications had to be made. The only thing I did was unscrew and remove the bar on the top as it got in the way of me mounting my rack shelf for my routers and modems. I understand its designed to help brace the rack, but once you have switches and power supplies mounted in, the rack is not going to flex and bend. For a small office/home install, this should be a satisfactory purchase.

> 3 day付属してくるビスと座金が12組しかありません。 1Uのものを6U取り付ける際には、24組のビスと座金が必要です。このような時は、完全に不足します。 しかもビスは、M6でした。普通、ラックのビスはM5だと思うのですが。 この辺の癖を理解して使えば、悪くない製品です。

> 3 dayThe network cables in my apartment terminate an a fairly awkward spot for a desk or a shelf, but its a decent position for an end table. I bought this rack (and the LACK table from ikea if anyone else want to do something similar) for that purpose and it works very well. However, this 8U rack only comes with 6U worth of mounting hardware. I could not find that information in the text areas of the product page, but the last picture does say that only 24 sets of the nuts and bolts come with it. I have to take one star off because the BOM should be prominently listed on the page. The product description says that the cage nuts and screws are included. In my opinion, a reasonable interpretation of that is when buying an 8U rack with included hardware, the product would include 8U worth of hardware. Its not necessarily a deal breaker, I just think that the count of hardware should be explicitly stated in the product description if you are only going to receive 75% of what could be reasonably expected. But like I said, not a deal breaker in my case because this project is planned to take a few months and I only have 6U worth of devices anyway. But that is just my specific situation. Tl; dr: Please keep in mind, you will only be able to mount 6, 1U devices in this 8U rack without buying additional hardware. Thats a product page issue, but the product itself is exactly as advertised.

26-11-2024I have purchased 8U one. Its durable and stable even without equipment. Im very happy with the bracket and dont understand comments like its not deep enough - all specs provided, so you know what you are buying, no? The only suggestion is to supply black cage nuts and screws (Ive got shiny silver ones, so have to purchase black screws separately :) ).

> 3 dayUsed this to hold an NVR, network switch and UPS. Easy to mount, very sturdy and it looks good. Would purchase again if another is needed.
