> 3 dayWorked great for mounting a patch panel and switch in a small server closet. Would be even better if the top was closed so it could be used as a shelf for a cable modem.

> 3 dayGood quality 6U rack that is sturdy and doesnt have a lot of flex. The cross member supports mounting at the top or the bottom in case you want to mount a top shelf instead. The mounting holes also lined up perfectly with my wall studs. It would have been better if they supplied enough cage nuts for the entire rack, since buying these usually requires buying in bulk (50+). Currently it only comes with enough cage nuts to mount a couple devices. Overall though, I find this to be a good wall mount solution for a home server and networking rack.

> 3 dayI got the 6U rack and it came with enough hardware to put up only 3U of equipment when using 4 screws per U (which is the standard). I also would liked to have seen more mounting holes (to the wall) but otherwise its fine. Docking multiple stars for skimping on hardware, which is ridiculous.

08-06-2025Not a bad little mount, sadly its not deep enough to mount a good quality managed switch like the TP-LINK TL-SG3424P 24-Port Gigabit L2 Managed PoE Switch to. Id have hoped that the depths would have worked to save space and mount everything up neatly.

> 3 dayStarTech 8U. This was the cheapest wall mount rack I could find and Im very happy with it. Its sturdy and serves the purpose well for my needs. Looking back I would have been fine with a 6U but whatever. Rack was well packaged and came in a large sized box since it is assembled. There is a cross brace that helps with the sturdiness as well. The 8U came with an assortment of screws and brackets for affixing various components. I see from other reviews the smaller ones do not. This has cleaned my mess of wires and other components up making it look neat, tidy & professional. I also purchased a shelf to hold my NAS and external HDDs.

> 3 dayI bought this instead of a Monoprice one as I have one of those in another location and it is flimsy. I this one is very strong
