> 3 dayGreat rack for a small home network. The mounting holes are 16 inches apart to align with the spacing of studs - which is a nice touch. I mounted mine on a piece of plywood, added a small shelf at the bottom to hide the wires and put it near the ceiling.

> 3 dayThis mounting bracket fit well into a deep closet and mounts easily with an strong anchor kit. This bracket is sturdily constructed and easily holds my 16 port switch and patch panel. Do be aware that the kit only comes with enough mounting screws and clip nuts for 2 devices (8 in total). If you plan on installing multiple patch panels or switches, you may need to purchase more screws/clip nuts.

> 3 dayWe use this mount in our basement to connect a 24 port patch panel, switch, and modem. It is heavier than expected, solid build, and easy to mount. It lost a star because it does not come with enough screw clips.

> 3 dayThis is just right. Small enough to fit in a small space in my utility room. Holds my poe switch, cable modem, router, and smart things hub. I did order a separate shelf, but this is just right. Seems to be well made. Switch and shelf mounted easily with the included hardware

> 3 dayPerfect for a home network - well priced, decently made, and took me to the next level with my home networking equipment. Easy to install and sturdy. There is a horizontal brace that can be top or bottom mounted depending on what you have installed, which will give the rack the proper squared up dimensions to install standard width network equipment in. Keep in mind that this rack has some flex in the vertical side panels which will disappear once a couple of items are installed in it. Check out Budget Nerds YouTube channel for a nice little primer on this setup; Tom Lawrence also has a nice video on his Lawrence Systems YouTube channel called DIY Home Rack Build which goes over some great options for modular keystone patch panels. I installed this on a stud framed wall in my basement, a work in progress. Ill likely sheath the stud wall in plywood to give me flexibility to mount other networking equipment as needed.

Greater than one weekI the StarTech.com 6U Wall Mount Network Equipment Rack and it worked great for my modem and switch but my server would not fit so I had to replace it. I am going to use it for my xbox in the future.
