> 3 dayDuring a heavy snow storm, the township plow broke the top off of our mailbox. We could not find this mailbox in our local big-box stores. Fortunately we found it on Amazon and at a better price than alternative models in our local stores. Being the same model, we removed the damaged mailbox from the inground post and replaced it easily.

> 3 dayGot this as a replacement for current mailbox that I have have 20+ years. It was like night and day as far as the quality of this one. It is very cheaply made and plastic was thin in spots. The pre drilled holes all had flashing on the inside and around each area. Could not even place the step 2 logo decal over the hole due to the hole being deformed and protruding out so far that the decal would not stay in place because it would not lay flat. The plastic was so warped on top of the base legthat it took two people to try to force the top of the mail box on to the connecting sliding grooves which were not even at all. Assembly was tedious. Next time i will just go to my local hardware store to see the product in person to judge if it is a quality product before buying. Lesson learned. Not even worth half of what I paid for it. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! THIS HAS TO BE A GENERIC KNOCK OFF! BUYER BEWARE!!! CAN NOT BE THE SAME MAKE/MODEL of the original step 2 brand.

> 3 dayWe like the look of the mailbox. Came with numbers to stick on it, which was nice. I thought the holes would be predrilled, to screw the top and bottom together, but they werent. Then our post seemed to be too big. So the back piece to cover the post doesnt quite fit and I will need to slice it. I think the mailbox dimension is off though, not our post, which is annoying and inconvenient. And installing a mailbox isnt rocket science, but the directions are very skimpy. You are provided with a phone number if you do have questions, though.

> 3 dayI purchased this as a replacement of my original MailMaster mailbox that I installed 3 years ago. I live on a rural road and the frame of my mailbox cracked one very cold day this winter when a plow went through after a huge snowfall throwing a heavy load of snow against the mailbox. Even badly cracked, it continued to stand up against continued snowplow batterings throughout the terrible winter. My choice for a replacement was another MailMaster. These are easy to install, are completely weather resistant (with the exception of being hit by 200lbs of snow moving at 50MPH on a bitter cold day), look very nice and are all plastic so there is no rusting. The only down side is that there is access from both the front and the back. For a rural mailbox in a northern climate, the rear door is generally not accessible for half of the year due to snow. There are times when the mail person inadvertently pushes so much stuff into the box that it pushes the rear door open. When I install the new mailbox I will permanently secure the rear access door so that it can not be opened.

> 3 dayVery sturdy and looks great. Just wish I could have gotten it a little straighter when I hammered the pole in the ground.

Greater than one weekGood mailbox, easy to put up. Just hope it holds up better than the previous one. The snow plow took it out after 2 winters. The snow twisted the box and cracked the base. We have tough winters, but still.....
