Step2 595200 MailMaster Plus Mailbox, Walnut

Really like that I don’t have to step into the street to get my mail and newspaper. I now have access from the front and a key! Looks terrific, too!

Semi indestructible unless it takes a direct hit from a snowplow. Plenty large enough for every day mail. Live on a busy State road. Rear access was a major selling point. USPO mail doors are held by magnets. Great plus over the old metal mailboxes with the metal tab on top. Separate compartment for newspapers is good too ... if only the paper guy would use it. Hes still going for 3 point lay up shots on my driveway from his drivers side window.

Perfect color and size for mail and small packages, durable, easy to assemble on wooden post.

It was easy to install over and existing 4x4 post. Seems sturdy and durable. The wife likes it!

easy to put together, though you DO need 2 people to attach the top to the bottom. easy to put up! looks great, and I love the color. has the flap in back for the newspaper, which is what we need in our windy subdivision!

Our old mailbox was looking rough. It had been smashed by some palm branches falling on it and was all peeled paint and rust. It was getting to the point that I was thinking they would stop delivering our mail. ;-) After searching a bit I picked up this bad boy. This thing is large and well built with plenty of room for both mail and a newspaper. Does anyone besides me still get a newspaper? Putting this together was a bit of work and requires two people and a drill. I was able to put this together with the assistance of my seven-year-old to hold it in place while I attached it. If you already have a post installed you may have to cut it to fit this mailbox. Whats holding me back from giving this five stars? The stupid bolts they provide for attaching the box to the pole are next to useless. There is no way you are going to easily fit a wrench or socket in the hole provided. I ended up just using some large wood screws and screwing this directly to the pole. So if you pick this up you may want to locate or purchase some big wood screws.

Installed easily. I like the back & front access. One improvement Id like to see is the back-plate being larger and completely covering the wooden pole that holds the mailbox in place.

It is a replacement because of change in new siding color. Only downside was older model slipped over 4x4 post, new one attaches to post with back side open but does not come with anything to cover back side.
