The size is just right - fits easily in my pocket, and fits nicely in my hand. The pocket clip works really well, and it can be used to clip onto the brim of a hat. The buttons are intuitively placed. The tailcap button is a bit hard to press, however since I dont use that button - its not a problem for me. The main thumb-operated button goes from low to medium to high. This order can be changed if you want it to come on high then go to medium and then low. The low setting of 5 lumens is plenty bright enough for most indoor and close up outdoor operations. The medium setting is bright enough for most outdoor operations. The high setting could probably temporarily blind/disorient an attacker. The strobe setting would also be very useful for disorienting an attacker, however since you have to push the tail cap button three times then hold to use it and the button is quite hard to push - this might not be an easy feature for practical operation. Since I did not purchase the light for this reason it is not a consideration for me. Its my favorite everyday carry light, and rechargeable means no batteries to replace!

I like how much more lumens you get out of it. Only complaint is that it’s a little heavier and less grippy than the 650 lumen model. Overall, great light. Perfect for concealed carry or EDC.

Fantastic flashlight. I have been EDC this light for a couple of years. Slim in the pocket, tail cap button gives full illumination, other button allow for three levels of light with constant on. I ended up buying two more for my sons and they are equally impressed.

Wow, what a fantastic flashlight. Its my EDC and I have been loving its ease of use and deployment. If you are looking for something you can also use as a kobuton I would go in a different direction, but as a flashlight its size, shape, and functionality are fantastic.

1 button on the back for quick intermittent access to max output make this an awesome self defense light. 1 button on the body allowing low/med/high constant on activation makes this an awesome daily task light. The additional button for checking battery status and the LED that shows green for full, yellow for medium, or red for low battery mean I dont have to worry about it going read when I dont expect it. The plastic flat body means that it doesnt bulge out my pocket or scratch my phone that also lives in the same pocket. Good pocket clip that can slip on a hat bill. Micro USB charging. Im kind of a flashlight addict, and this is by far the best EDC light in the world for me, and for 99% of others as well. The only thing that some may not like is the wide beam. Its very flood, not spot.

This has a solid place in my EDC (everyday carry). I love this flashlight. No batteries to worry about. The built in lipo has great life. I use my light a lot. Not for long periods of time usually but for inspections, looking under the fridge for a lego, checking for burr during sharpening, etc... I hunted for a light with a good pocket clip for months. These typical bulky, round lights that hold an 18650 batteries or AAA have garbage pocket clips. The round shape to them is very unnatural and uncomfortable in the pocket. This seems nit picky when you haven’t carried the Stiletto. I had grown comfortable to these bulky, round lights because I hadn’t had anything else. After I broke another Nitecore, I had to hunt down a USA manufactured flashlight that changed the game for me. I didn’t want the same name everyone has but this is their house. Surefire just makes good stuff. It’s a name I was made familiar with during my time in the military. Literally, everyone in the military carries or has carried Surefire something. The idea of having something made in the USA with a massive manufacturing backing from a company that stands behind its military and law enforcement personnel brings a lot of pride and faith in the product. The form factor of this light is remarkable. It fits my pocket almost as good as it fits my hand. It’s extremely ergonomic in both. The pocket clip is tough as nails. I prefer a very tight pocket clip so I removed the clip, bent it a little more and reinstalled it for that super tight clip. I’ve been carrying this light EVERY SINGLE DAY. It’s fallen 2 stories now twice, been run over once and keeps coming back for more. I’ve only charged it twice since I bought it, amazingly. I don’t always use the max output though. When I do, it’s by the “tailcap”. Temporary light for a quick scan. Strobe to disorient the kids long enough for me to grab the last piece of pizza and get out of there! But low is my most used setting. Something that doesn’t blind you, doesn’t create a bright reflection. The user interface is so simple. Off the tail, it’s all temporary. Apply pressure, light turns on. Remove pressure, light turns off. It’s max lumens. Three quick taps and you go into strobe. Same technique as before. On the main panel, usb charging plug at the bottom with a waterproof rubber gasket. Above those, to the left is your mode button and to the right is the light activation. The body is a tough plastic of some sort and an aluminum head. After a few minutes on high, the aluminum can get very hot but they’ve put that warning on there so you don’t forget. It’s got decent throw and a wide, hard wall like we’re used to with Surefire lights. My only gripe is every once in awhile I’ll find the light is on in my pocket. But with its battery life, it doesn’t concern me. It uses the same micro USB that all of you android users are used to. I love this light. It’s a gem. If I manage to break it one day, at $100 I’ll buy two to replace it.

Hands down best EDC light. 1 year in and I am blown away at how durable and reliable it has been. My daily use consists of field service work and Ive run it in many hours of defensive training. 3 level setting is perfect. Thumb switch has never missed. Plenty of light. I think I have charged it a total of 6 times in 1 year. Incredible. Great light.

Super bright light in a very compact package. Programable to have full or low illumination on first setting. Easy to program. Caution if you carry the light in your pocket and if something pushes on the switch it can turn on. You will know this when you feel like something is burning in your pocket. I gave it a four because of the switch other than that great light.
