Stiletto Pocket Light

This flashlight is so good, that after I lost my first one, I immediately bought a second one. It is hands down, the best flashlight. Im an inspector at a Polymers plant. This flashlight gets used every day. It always gets the same reaction D*mn, that thing is bright!. Almost everyone has a flashlight on them, but they know, my flashlight is the king of the pocket lights. People ask to use it over their light all the time. The belt clip makes it soooo easy to have on me, that I forget its even there. Ive had it fall in mud, gunk, grease, and washed it off numerous times. Just shake the water off and immediately put it on the charger. Not a single malfunction. Been using this light for a year.

I have used several LED flashlights over the years & have never found one that is totally reliable until I finally decided to invest in a high-quality light. Surefire has a great reputation for weapons-grade lights & the Stiletto is a great product. Its slim profile makes it perfect for pocket-carry & the belt clip is robust. I have not had this light fall out of my pocket due to a weak clip like other lights. The USB charging feature is handy also. Im sure Ive spent double the price of this light in the past 3 years on inferior lights that let you down when you need them most.

Seamed great at first now its mostly annoying. I checked through the booklet that came with it, I dont see a lockout function in the text. Unless its in a shirt pocket it easily is activated accidentally and could drain the battery in your pocket if you dont notice during the day, only to find it dead at night when you actually need it. So Im constantly checking to see if the light is on. Between this and the broken remote switch I bought Im begining to question surefire quality and design etc. 6 month update: Plastic housing has cracks in it now, I both love and hate this light. I love that its flat, bright and easy to deploy. Its comfortable in the hand and easy to use. I love the extra switches Because mostly I use a light for just basic tasks not for violent situations so having the tail cap switch only gets annoying when youre just trying to look around and stuff. I HATE that it can easily activate in a pocket, and the plastic housing cracked. A few design tweaks and its the perfect light for me. Maybe click the basic switch 3 times to activate or make it a slide switch. Metal housing is already available in the pro model.

Easily rechargeable from USB. Cable is provided but not proprietary (standard android phone cable works fine) Extremely durable Battery life is excellent, several hours on all but the brightest setting (brightest setting is probably too bright unless for police work or the like) Flat design fits comfortably in front pocket

Be careful inserting and removing the charging cable. The power source connection is very delicate and over time, will fail. The first flashlight- I was a little aggressive and pulled out the charging cable like you would a cell phone. Within three weeks of owning it, it stopped charging. I made the call to SureFire and gave them my story. They gave me a ton of hassle buying it from Amazon and basically told me all lights being produced were being distributed to retail centers, not filling warranty claims. After 45 days, they finally sent the replacement after multiple emails and calls. Very frustrating. Second light- After one year of occasional use, it finally stopped charging. I was mindful of plugging/unplugging the charging port.

Very bright. It fits nicely on my hat to free up my hands. Plastic broke after a few months. May be good for someone who works a white collar job but for me it didn’t last.

I bought this for my wife to provide her with good nighttime illumination. It is amazingly bright, lightweight, and easily stored in her purse. A great investment.

It’s a nice flashlight. Definitely unique in shape, and takes a bit of getting used to. The only reason I would take maybe a half star off is I wish it came in FDE too. Nice consistent bright light, easy to change modes, and convenience of USB charging (I can even charge it with a solar panel.) Easy to engage as an off hand weapon light with strobe effect as well as a bright torch. In summary, it’s a great flashlight for EDC, just make sure you have some means to charge it if you’re out in the field and you don’t have power connection to charge using a USB cable.

Handy work light that fits in your pocket and the quality of being a sure light.

I love this little lamp 3 different levels of brightness , lightweight , and its rechargeable . I took it on a recent trip to Africa and used it every night for something . I leave it by my bedside and its great if I need to get up in the night without waking my wife or running into anything . Use it also to walk the dogs at night . You can easily hold it in your mouth if needed . It seems that the charge life is a little short [ particularly if using high beam ] but itis much cheaper than replacing those expensive batteries used in other Surefire lamps I charge it about every other day .
