> 24 hourGreat light , the shape the brightness of it and battery life are awesome but they need to change the plastic they use it’s brittle. I had to use super glue on it so I can still use it

> 24 hourThe Surefire Stiletto puts out some serious brightness. From my deck overlooking a thick forest, I can see objects out to about 100 yards and I have seen animal eyes reflected back at about 200 yards. It is easy to carry with the side clip, but dont accidentally turn it on while it is in your pocket; it generates a lot of heat at the lens.

> 24 hourPower switch is in front, exactly under your thumb and ready for deployment - not on the tail, therefore you don’t have to shift it around in your hand for EDC use. This is very convenient. I see that the newer “Pro” model is brighter (1000 lumens) and I may upgrade to that one. There are other competing EDC flashlights on the market that go up to 2000, 3000 lumens, but they mostly have tail-switches, which I find inconvenient for EDC use. I will stick with side-switches like the Stiletto family has.

> 24 hourI am a flashlight collector, not sure why, maybe Im afraid of the dark. I own many lights and I always have one in my pocket. I insist on quality, and Surefire is one of the best, you will pay for this quality but its something I appreciate. This particular light, the Stiletto, is a favorite of mine due to its slim profile, this light slips easily into and out of my pocket. The USB rechargeable battery seems robust and seems to hold a charge for a very long time, and I like the protective cover over the charging port. Three light intensity settings make this a very versatile pocket light, and very powerful at the high setting. I love this light, but I must warn you of a relatively minor issue, this is why four stars instead of five. Occasionally, if there is too much stuff in my pocket, and space is cramped, the on/off switch can be depressed and the light will turn on in my pocket. If this light has room enough so that the switch will not be activated, and nothing pressing against it, you will be fine. I dont know how Surefire can fix this minor glitch, but I think they will figure it out. All things considered, this remains one of my favorite EDC lights.

> 24 hourBought this as a non lethal travel weapon (blinding and striking) for carry in non permissive environments (work, government, overseas, airports, etc.) and it’s ideal for that philosophy of use. Stays in my travel backpack with the rest of the gear in that role but if I wasn’t carrying other self defense equipment I’d EDC it as a light as well. Gonna pick up a few more for colleagues in the same circumstances and backups in other bags as well.

> 24 hourI like flashlights and knives and have a nice little collection of both. This light is near perfect and the one I carry nearly every day. Extremely bright in high mode that can be activated for either constant on or with a button in the base that lights up as long as you are holding it. This base button also activates the extremely bright strobe feature. The light can be programmed to you preferences as to which mode activates - I have kept it on the factory default which is low to high for the constant on feature and high for the base button. Battery seems to hold a charge really well and recharging is simple and fairly quick. The slim design and clip make it easy to pocket carry as well as to clip it to the bill of a ball cap for a hands free head light. I debated buying this for a while as it is not cheap. After buying it, I realize it is not cheap for a reason - very high quality, durable light.

> 24 hourI love this light, it hasnt replaced my EDC2LT, but for general searching for things in dark corners around the shop its fantastic. Wish it had a bit more throw for an EDC light, but not having to pay for batteries on my X300U or EDC2LT as often is really nice.

> 24 hourThis flashlight is within reach 24/7 (except in the shower). You never know when a small and powerful light will be helpful, even in daylight, like when poking around a car engine or when looking for a lost toy under the couch. I have used it to help people walk down steps to a parking lot at night. It has a well defined circle of light, which I like. It is easy to keep clipped to my pants pocket. The relatively steep price is worth it to me.
