Greater than one week1 button on the back for quick intermittent access to max output make this an awesome self defense light. 1 button on the body allowing low/med/high constant on activation makes this an awesome daily task light. The additional button for checking battery status and the LED that shows green for full, yellow for medium, or red for low battery mean I dont have to worry about it going read when I dont expect it. The plastic flat body means that it doesnt bulge out my pocket or scratch my phone that also lives in the same pocket. Good pocket clip that can slip on a hat bill. Micro USB charging. Im kind of a flashlight addict, and this is by far the best EDC light in the world for me, and for 99% of others as well. The only thing that some may not like is the wide beam. Its very flood, not spot.

> 3 dayVery lightweight and small and flat enough to fit in a pocket with the sturdy, attached clip. The light can also be clipped to the peak of a hat for hands-free use. This light lasts a long time between charges. The small LED power indicator keeps you informed of battery drain ... Very nice feature. The switch operates intuitively and has three levels of illumination; The lowest conserves power for a long time. Charging is done with a USB cord. Nice little light:--- I never leave home without it.

Greater than one weekThe size is just right - fits easily in my pocket, and fits nicely in my hand. The pocket clip works really well, and it can be used to clip onto the brim of a hat. The buttons are intuitively placed. The tailcap button is a bit hard to press, however since I dont use that button - its not a problem for me. The main thumb-operated button goes from low to medium to high. This order can be changed if you want it to come on high then go to medium and then low. The low setting of 5 lumens is plenty bright enough for most indoor and close up outdoor operations. The medium setting is bright enough for most outdoor operations. The high setting could probably temporarily blind/disorient an attacker. The strobe setting would also be very useful for disorienting an attacker, however since you have to push the tail cap button three times then hold to use it and the button is quite hard to push - this might not be an easy feature for practical operation. Since I did not purchase the light for this reason it is not a consideration for me. Its my favorite everyday carry light, and rechargeable means no batteries to replace!

23-11-2024Battery lasts a long time. Has a light the goes from green to yellow/red as battery goes down Can clip on hat brim for hands free. The button on back of light requires you to hold the thin edge vs the wide, so thumb can depress button. Feels fine in hand, but didnt think about it until i needed it and i had to adjust my grip. Thesr fit in pocket much better then my other surefire.

Greater than one weekGreat little EDC light with Micro USB recharge capabilities. Pros: -SureFire brand -Rechargeable, good seal on recharge port -Good battery life -Multiple buttons, programmable -Multiple lumen modes -Good modular fit with most hats/billed headwear Cons: -Cheap plastic/aluminum body. Would have paid 10-20$ more for a better material. -High Profile when fully seated in pockets, not that big of a deal -No option to change clip mounting

> 3 dayBe careful inserting and removing the charging cable. The power source connection is very delicate and over time, will fail. The first flashlight- I was a little aggressive and pulled out the charging cable like you would a cell phone. Within three weeks of owning it, it stopped charging. I made the call to SureFire and gave them my story. They gave me a ton of hassle buying it from Amazon and basically told me all lights being produced were being distributed to retail centers, not filling warranty claims. After 45 days, they finally sent the replacement after multiple emails and calls. Very frustrating. Second light- After one year of occasional use, it finally stopped charging. I was mindful of plugging/unplugging the charging port.

Greater than one weekI love this little lamp 3 different levels of brightness , lightweight , and its rechargeable . I took it on a recent trip to Africa and used it every night for something . I leave it by my bedside and its great if I need to get up in the night without waking my wife or running into anything . Use it also to walk the dogs at night . You can easily hold it in your mouth if needed . It seems that the charge life is a little short [ particularly if using high beam ] but itis much cheaper than replacing those expensive batteries used in other Surefire lamps I charge it about every other day .
