Greater than one weekThis has quickly become one of our favorite games! Viticulture is a strategy board game where you have a winery and earn points by making wine, filling orders and other various ways.

> 3 dayThis and the basic Catan are my two favorite games. It is strategy, but less competitive than Catan. Sometimes our board game group gets a little too competitive so this is a good break, because you focus on building up your own vineyard and cant really hinder another players plans, but it is a race to win. Its also a little better than Catan because you cant use the same one strategy every time and win, the summer and winter visitor cards can really throw your plans for a loop in a close game or give a losing player a comeback if they are lucky.

Greater than one weekMy family hates long, drawn out games like Monopoly. Despite the first few games taking 2-3 hours to complete with 3 players, everyone was engaged with the game and wanted to play more. The game times are getting quicker as we improve in our knowledge of the game. This game definitely replaces a lot of older bored games!

03-06-2025My husband and I are obsessed with this game. It does take a long time to learn so Id recommend getting someone who knows how to teach you or watching a video or SOMETHING. I cant imagine just reading the instructions and figuring it out. A bottle of wine while you play is a must.

> 3 dayThis game was soooo fun. There are many different paths to victory and everyone has a chance to the end. I have a ton of board games and this immediately became one of my favorites. Check out the dice tower review for a thorough explanation of the game. You wont go wrong with this one.

> 3 dayI am a fan of Stomemeier games anyway, so I was looking forward to playing this one, and I was not disappointed. Quick setup, easy to learn and lots of enjoyment. The game definitely plays differently, depending on number of players - I think 3 or 4 play best, but still very enjoyable for 1 to 6. The basic solo game isnt very deep, but the solo campaign game is awesome. Like all Stonemeier games, the creators are very responsive to rules questions.
