An exceptionally accessible worker placement game that is fun for two players. The visitor cards add a degree of uncertainty so unlike many euro games where the playing formula can predictable and almost rote-like, this one can throw a few interesting twists in gameplay. It may take a couple of playthroughs to finally feel comfortable with the choices and timing sequences but then the game will begin to show a good deal of depth and replay ability. The subject is represented so as to not be too abstract so you kind of feel the joy of actually making and building something. Player interaction is not vicious or aggressive other than the occasional blocking of opponents workers but even in this the system allows for other paths to accomplish tasks (enter visitor cards, and grande worker). Its one of our go-to games. We play Italian music while we play. It sets a nice tone.

Came in pristine condition, so fun, gifted after receiving as a gift when I had had my eye on it for a long time.

A very nice worker placement game. It also has very nice quality pieces which elevate the already great gameplay.

Incredible game. Love the game mechanics of having your own game objectives but also love the conflict of conflicting opponents objectives. If you appreciate well thought out game mechanics, you will love this game! Introduced this game to several friends and each continually wants to play the game again at another time!

This game is very easy to learn and it makes sense. Every step you do is a step you would do making wine

Takes a little bit to learn since there is a lot to absorb at first but once you learn it is very fun and has a lot of unique aspects.

This is a very solid medium-weight euro-game, with worker placement. The board role selection is tight enough to feel tension, but there are enough options that you can always do productive stuff. Honestly there is a bit too much luck involved to be a perfect game, but its no more swing-y than other popular games.
