Strathmore 300 Series Bristol Paper Pad, Smooth, Tape Bound, 11x14 inches, 20 Sheets (100lb/270g) - Artist Paper for Adults and Students - Markers, Pen and Ink

I used to work exclusively on Arches 300lb watercolor papers in pen and ink/ watercolor. I have recently started working digitally, but i still sketch my work out in pencil first. Strathmore Bristol is perfect for tight sketches that I scan and then work digitally over.

This paper was recommended as a good base using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers for coloring rubber stamped images. It works great, allowing easy blending with just the markers or the addition of water. Its got a smooth texture and the color flows beautifully. I like this much better than watercolor paper for this kind of project. It is also a wonderful base for blending Distress or other dye inks for card backgrounds, and the price is great. You can get 48 A2 size card tops from this pad of paper.
