Not what I expected, to me Vellum is a thin translucent paper, this is very thick

My husband is an artist and he uses the Bristol to do cariactures, character designs, and art projects. We have been buying the 300 Series for years and like it. My only suggestion is that if you are using copic markers you might not want to use the smooth paper. The markers dont seem to soak in as well and it takes a bit to dry so it is easier to smear the markers. If you are using this for comics or with pencils (colored pencils too) it works well.

I think I finally found my favorite paper for using oil pastels. It is very smooth on both sides and pretty thick. Easy to pull off.
