Streamlight 44931 Siege 540-Lumen Compact D Alkaline Outdoor Hand Lantern/Flashlight Combo, Coyote

I have had this lantern for a few months and not for camping. It does everything it says it will do although I have not used it for the low light long term ability. I have loaned it to campers and they also loved it. I have given two as gifts. It is light weight, long lasting, very bright and uses common batteries.

This new LED lantern is great! Uses fewer batteries and WAY brighter than the older style florescent ones, plus the Streamlight carries a lifetime guarantee on the LED! Ill buy more soon- it lights up my whole living room clearly when the power goes off, great for camping too.

Very bright, its also tough and compact, love it.

Puts out a great amount of lot light no bigger than it is.

Seems to be a great product. Havent had it long engoug to judge the battery life but I do like the way it works so far.

Stopped working after third use. Changed batteries and still nothing

Bought this to replace two old rechargeable lanterns. This one does the job and more. Bright and the red light is perfect for early morning pre hunts.

The white light setting can go very bright, most of the time I stick with a low setting or on high to clip it to my belt. Red night vision mode is nice to have when in total darkness, outdoors under a fairly bright moon will drown it out. I cannot say much about battery life but overall I really enjoy this light.
