Streamlight 44931 Siege 540-Lumen Compact D Alkaline Outdoor Hand Lantern/Flashlight Combo, Coyote

So impressed with this lantern that I just ordered second one today! Speaks for itself.

This is a bright lantern (450 lumens) with a good runtime. Red light, and several lighting options make this a great light source for emergency and outdoor use. This compares well with my larger camp lantern, which takes up more storage room and costed more.

Our favorite flashlight! My husband wanted it but my kids end up using it the most. It takes alot of big batteries but they last FOREVER! My son was using this as his nightlight for over a month and we still had it for over a year and have only changed the batteries once. My kids loves to take it into the bathtub and put the red light on. Its totally waterproof. Between the lake and the bathtub I can tell you with confidence that water will not hurt this light.

Beefy lamp that can take it being used outdoors without worrying about it breaking. Multiple ways to hang or set down is awesome.

Cant say that I have asked it to do much yet but it is well designed and very bright

The issue is that I put a piece of duck tape over the button for using the red night light. Otherwise the green battery status light is brighter than the actual lantern and messes with night vision. Other than that, this is a very well-designed LED lantern.
