> 3 dayAfter opening the unit up, I was quite pleased to find that Stryker had fix some of there downfalls. For example, they actually used enough heatsink compound on the components that required them. They also did a much better job with there solder connections. Im looking forward to the longevity test, I really dont see any problems, except for the ones I create... LOL

> 3 dayThe 955 HPC is inarguably the current TOP OF THE LINE Sideband Mobile 10~11 Meter mobile radio on the market today. Performed flawlessly out of the box and every conceivable bell and whistle an operator could ask for out of this type of radio 5 STARS A +++++ After peaking the AM Modulation inside, is an AM Audio Monster and have to cut the Mic Gain back to 11 O Clock to use with my D104 desk mic or will be over modulated. Very stable on sideband with all reports being beautiful on AM & SSB

> 3 dayWorks well as advertised, and can be converted to operate on CB channels if youre handy with a soldering iron. Ill probably never use the roger beeps or echo features, but it has clear audio and solid modulation without needing to be peaked/tuned. It puts out enough power that you dont need an external amplifier.

> 3 dayExcellent radio. I had to tune the transmitte after I received it. Peak and tune now does 20 Watts rms and about 95 peak. It came with the patch cable however after I downloaded the software from Stryker found out that the software is not very good the roger beep preview does not produse the tones in the same way the radio does so changing the tone and duration is very difficult. Over all it is very good radio top shelf audio quality and has tons of modulation if tuned correctly
