Stryker SR-955HPC 10 Meter Amateur Radio

This is the best 10 meter/(cb after conversion) I have ever owned. Very customizable and the loudest clearest audio of anyone in my area. May buy 1 or 2 more before they may decide to discontinue.

Good basic monoband radio. I have had good luck ith this, but a bit overpriced. Like my Icom 7300 better.

The 955 HPC is inarguably the current TOP OF THE LINE Sideband Mobile 10~11 Meter mobile radio on the market today. Performed flawlessly out of the box and every conceivable bell and whistle an operator could ask for out of this type of radio 5 STARS A +++++ After peaking the AM Modulation inside, is an AM Audio Monster and have to cut the Mic Gain back to 11 O Clock to use with my D104 desk mic or will be over modulated. Very stable on sideband with all reports being beautiful on AM & SSB

Got This Radio For My 4wd Truck

service was awesome..got radio right out and was on time or befor i thought it was going to be dropped at the house. the radio is awesome and performs to my expectations

I will be updating this as time goes by. This radio is awesome. Got it home and immediately did the frequency unlock. It was a very tiny tiny square modern resister. My mother in law used to solder for medical equipment. She unsoldered the resister in minutes. I had her look over the board and imspect all the joints. She said they were fairly clean and she found no cracks no cold joints. Being so modern PCB construction I would assume it will last as diesel mobile. The software is fairly easy to operate. Works on windows 10 64bit. Has very nice features like swr cut off and low and high power safteys. One disappointments was the roger beep. I was hoping to beable to use .wav files to.have a custom roger beep. Its kind of time consuming to created something original because its drop down menus to select the sound freq hz and time. They could have made it an input form. If they update the app it would be very easy to implement. I wont dock a star for the roger.beep however. This rig works on upper ssb really good, I was getting over 100 watts out on the built in meter. On Am I was very surprised, this radio is very quite. RF gain almost all the way up ( knob all the way to the right) with squaltch turned off no static with NB on a 1.5 swr. I could here contacts from 15 miles away so far. Contacts so far say I sound Krystal clear and are amazed at the differences between my this and my comnex 3300zx. Thanks stryker for the great radio so far. I hope.you update the app Id love to see a easier to use roger beep customize menu Add a copy and paste script input so users can share each others. Great radio. Stryker also has a CTCSS board you can buy for this radio to work 10 meter repeaters!

Good radio. It will need a modification if you want cb channels. It is almost impossible to have an effective antenna for HF or CB on a snowmobile or similar vehicle. The radio should not be blamed for the poor performance in a less than ideal installation.

All I can say is wow..this radio will blow you away..Love the controls and meter..The color changing display is awsome..Plenty of options on settings so you can customize it to your liking. Nice filters..awesome echo controls..and with a little tuning..loud audio and very good swing..folks dont have a hard time hearing it no doubt..nothing but good reports from folks I talk to..Love this radio..I have had a general Lee and a mirage 44..they were nice radios and did well but this Stryker is the cream of the crop! Big County from Virginia said that and we are back on the side.
