Stryker SR-955HPC 10 Meter Amateur Radio

I love this radio is super easy to convert to 11 meters the only thing that I notice unusual; is the turning on display it takes about 3 sec for display to light up . Other than that is a nice and very powerful radio . It is one of my favorites.

Packaging sucks although I’m glad nothing was broken on the radio I’m really happy with it

The product itself is great. However, it was delivered in the CB box. It would have been nice if it was hidden inside another box for discretion, as it is left on a porch. Delivery time actually came a day early. Thank you.

All I can say is wow..this radio will blow you away..Love the controls and meter..The color changing display is awsome..Plenty of options on settings so you can customize it to your liking. Nice filters..awesome echo controls..and with a little tuning..loud audio and very good swing..folks dont have a hard time hearing it no doubt..nothing but good reports from folks I talk to..Love this radio..I have had a general Lee and a mirage 44..they were nice radios and did well but this Stryker is the cream of the crop! Big County from Virginia said that and we are back on the side.

Amazing radio! Very impressed. Sensitive recieve, stock mic is perfect, 11 meter mod is easy, lots of PC programmable options like under/over voltage protection and you can even set an alarm for bad users! Its like a ham radio mated with a truckers CB and this is their love child! I liked it soo much that I will be buying a couple more for my other vehicles!

I have been the Stryker radio for several weeks in my vehicle and have been very impressed with the functionality and quality of the radio. The stock microphone is paired very well to the radio; however, you will achieve even better audio quality if a quality dynamic mic is used with the radio. I have received very good reports on the audio while using an Astatic 636L microphone with the radio ($60 at any Pilot or Loves truck stop). The radio is also paired with a Wilson 1000 magnet mount on my setup which is also an excellent mobile antenna. The radio has a large and effective heat sink (cooling fins) on the back of the radio that sticks out a bit...so be sure to check your mounting space / clearances before performing an install. Software to customize the radio is available for download at the Stryker website. The software allows customization of frequencies assigned to channels in each band as well as customization of roger beeps and radio operating parameters. (6) roger beeps may be programmed and individually assigned to individual channels. Especially nice is the ability to set operating ranges for voltage, max SWR, and max key down time...all of which serve to protect the (4) MOSFET output transistors from damage. Finally, there are few radios that look as SWEET as the Stryker SR-955HPC. There is a fairly large signal meter to the left of the face plate and the back-lighting on the face plate looks amazing...especially at night. There are several YouTube videos out there on this radio as well as other reviews, so check those out. Buy with confidence, this is a rock-solid transceiver and you wont be disappointed if you purchase one.

Great 10 meter radio. Very sensitive receiver. Should take to a reliable tech for a tune and alignment.

This 10 meter radio is awesome it took about 10 minutes to convert it over to a CB and it works flipping awesome Im very happy.
