Good basic monoband radio. I have had good luck ith this, but a bit overpriced. Like my Icom 7300 better.

Like the receive audio, Has a nice display . Transmits well with good modulation . Has 10 bands of 40 channels . Inside has surface mount parts design for increased reliability and performance . Frequency counter reads out to 100 cycles . Radio scans 40 channels in each band and you can lock out channels that you do not want to scan .

I purchased this radio to use on the 10 meter ham bands. I have been a license ham radio operator for 39 years using many kinds of ham radios from the HF bands all the way to UHF bands. The radio is priced a little on the high side but has many good solid features that I will use and some I wont. It is a bargain when you compare its price to the top brand ham radio HF transceivers that cover the 10 meter bands. It will work very well right out of the box. Dont mess with it as this will cause you problems in the future and void your warranty.

The best mobile radio Ive ever owned! Lots of surprises and all good. I read extensively about it but the amazing filters were not mentioned. The recieve is amazingly clear. Everything works and very well. I replaced an RCI2950 that cost 50% more when new. Very happy new Stryker owner!

Radio worked perfectly out of the box. Mars Mod is easy for those experienced with bench work. Everything in the description is accurate. The built in (AGC) receiver will hold strong nearby signals back from over driving the meter (and radio front end) which is a great feature. Some other sellers claim 70 watts, but that is only on SSB with the right note into the mic. The best I get is 60 watts PEP in AM mode which is perfect for my application. Modulation is near perfect and watching the signal on a scope, it is well within 5kc on either side of a channel with nice peaks and no splash over. Signal and audio reports on each mode are excellent from both close and distant stations. I well pleased with my purchase and I do believe this model Stryker has become the industry standard for techs and everyday users. One Note: Do NOT let your tech touch the controls inside when modding. They are set perfectly from the factory and turning anything will only cause you a headache and expense to get the radio back to proper condition.

Good radio on the inside but the outside is cheaply made. knobs are the worst quality ive ever dealt with.
