Greater than one weekThis is my favorite stabilizer to use on top of embroidery hoop. The threads stitch right through it and it keeps the design crisp.

> 3 daySulky has always made reliable products, and this is not an exception. I always use single layers on top of medium-weight fabric and two or three layers on top of terry cloth and have been very satisfied with the results. Bits and pieces of this stabilizer can be dissolved in water (with a little alcohol to ward off mold) and brushed on thin cottons for stability. Let it dry thoroughly before embroidering. The brushing on and drying technique can be done several times to stiffen thin fabrics. I always test on a scrap of fabric first to make sure no water marks stain the fabric.

> 3 dayI am very new to machine embroidery and I purchased this item as sort of a must-have starter list. It is perfect for use as floater stabilizer for the top of towels and fleeced materials. It is less perfect as a base for free-standing lace projects - two layers are a must! I will buy it again.

> 3 dayI wanted to us it for embroidery lace but it does not work. You need Vilene.

> 3 dayPerfect for machine embroidery and this stabilizer is one of the first things youll need to use on variety of fabrics. It comes off fairly easy after embroidering. Different feel from the Pellon brand, its like working with plastic wrap, thin & clingy but does the job. For the price its worth it. For 9 yards its a good product and easy to store away compared to the ones you buy at the fabric store by the yard.

> 3 dayI love this for topping my embroidery projects. Works really well to keep stitches from sinking into napped or fleece fabrics.

> 3 dayThis is perfect for embroidering on towels or any fabric with a nap. When I embroider on towels, I use this on the front and back so that there is no stabilizer showing anywhere. A tip - to remove any little bits and pieces, you dont need to wash the item, just mist it with your iron, lay a paper towel over the embroidery and iron. The little pieces will all come off on the paper towel and not your iron. Easy peasy

Greater than one weekThis is the first time Ive used this product and it was great. So many easy to follow videos on youtube. The one thing it didnt do was stick to the fabric but Im not sure if we bought the right type for that. As soon as you start stitching, it stays in place no problem. Great way to transfer the pattern without having to worry about disappearing ink, etc. I will use this a lot more.
