I used this product to keep a soft, handwoven wool from stretching and moving when I appliqued silk designs to it. Worked like a charm! No distortion.

Sulky has never failed me. Have tried others but always come back. Quickly dissolves, substantial thickness to work with and just works great for my needs.

Very useful product but I ended up purchasing the Ultra Solvy after using this (with a 50% off coupon at JoAnns) and am much more pleased with the quality and strength of it.

I have a Viking embroidery sewing machine and I swear by this to keep designs from sinking into the material. You can tear off the large piecces from a completed design and the rest will disolve with a few spritzes of water. I collect the pieces and when I have a full ziplock bag I add warm water and make a Sulky glue. You can just brush it on material, let it dry and embroider your design on top. I would only use Sulky glue for washable items.

I like this product and it dose a good job. I only have one issue with it, on long nape fabrics (swirl minkie) it tends to tear along the needle line that has all ready been embroidered. It removes easy and holds up well when you set it up and stretch out the wrinkles in the hoop. All in all its a good product and I will most likely purchase it again.

This is much thinner than I expected it to be. You really still need to use another stabilizer on anything that is the least bit stretchy. For fabric that is stiff already, it will probably work OK. So far, I have only been able to use it as a top stabilizer with a heavier duty stabilizer under the fabric.

I have used this in the past for a stabilizer. But for me , now I use it for transferring hand embroidery designs that I create on the computer. it prints easy . and dissolves easy. and it holds up well in the embroidery process .
