We were on the verge of having a contractor widen our bathroom doorways to accommodate my husband’s wheelchair, when an internet search led me to offset hinges.

Simple way to add 1-3/4 to your doorway without taking more space in your room. Easy to install; should have done it years ago!

These are good strong hinges but now I have to rehang the door and the frame to compensate for the thickness of the hinges. They do not allow the door to close now.

My wife and son both have muscular dystrophy and are confined to wheelchairs. These hinges allow the door open so that the door is flush with the door jamb instead of sticking out approx 2 giving them more clearance to get through the door. If you dont have wider, wheelchair accessible doors, these are a must have.

If you only need 1-2 additional inches for your doorways to accommodate a walker or a wheelchair, these hinges are wonderful.

These hinges are very sturdy, heavy duty units. They are very well built, no sharp edges. Even the hinge pins are polished

I’ve use the square radius heavier duty in the past. They may be priced 2x more, but not having two more teeth out the door jam is worth it to accommodate the square radius Stanley Swing clear hinges. Priced the same as Stone Harbors website.
