> 3 dayThis offset hinge works very well. It allows the door to swing all the way back out of the doorway opening so that you have the full width clear to navigate through. Surprisingly, it doesnt make the door swing oddly as I imagined it would - it just seamlessly swings wider. I dont think most people using the door would even notice any difference vs. a regularly-hinged door unless they use a wheelchair and had to navigate through - then YOU BET they notice how nice and wide the opening is! This product adds about 2 to the opening of the door.

> 3 dayAlmost all of the doors at my parents house were a very tight squeeze to get through with a walker, until we had these installed throughout the house. What a difference they make!!!!!! We bought one in brass, but it was so much more expensive, and this bronze hinge looks very nice with the doors, so we settled on this for all of the other doors we had done. (Started with the bathrooms first.) Caregivers love the added room too!!

Greater than one weekJust a heads up, these did not fit our door without modifications to the hinge or the door. I wanted to return them but you have to pay return shipping which was about 30% of the cost of hinges! Dont buy them unless you know for sure you wont have to modify them.
