Great for added swing on your doors in case of having to use a wheelchair.

We were hoping installing these my Mother-in-laws wheelchair would fit through the bathroom door but it didnt solve the problem.

I am now permanently in a wheelchair and find the doors in my house too narrow to get through without damages. I had 2 doors widened but it was very expensive, then I learned about these. They allow the door to open fully and lay flat against the wall and let me get from room to room without damaging the dors, their frames or the wall. I wish I had found out about them sooner.

Stone Harbor Hardware, 3.5 inch Swing Clear hinges. Replaced other hinges easily. Fit Stanley radius hinge but screw holes were off. Screws are not flush but quick n dirty worked w door w 1/16 gap all around. If get time will go back and dowel fill old screw holes and remount.

I liked that by having a swing away hinge, it added another 1 to width of doorway to accommodate a regular sized wheelchair without having to cut out the doorway , incurring construction mess and cost. I dislike, very much, that when door is open, it leave about a 4 gap between door jam and door - very unattractive.

These were bought because my wife was confined to a wheelchair for 3 1/2 years. I installed them to allow my wife W/C access to the hallway bathroom, master bedroom, and master bathroom. Otherwise she would not have been able to get into any bathroom or bedroom.

The hinges were a snap to install and now my motorized chair goes through without a problem! I keep going through just because I can! No bumps, no scrapes, no scratches!
