Great price! Universal product for different filters.

Had a hundred mollies at anytime. nasty little buggers. Good value for the buck. worked well. bought extra charcoal. each month dumped old charcoal, rinsed out filter with plain water and refilled with charcoal once or twice. Then threw away the filter bar.

Great product

Filter bags are not as high quality as in previous years batch. Seams are letting loose on the filter medium bag and the NON vacuumed sealed charcoal are not as good as the original vacuumed sealed ones are. The fibers on the bag itself are also coming loose and getting wrapped around the intake propeller, so now even more work to remove the siphon tube to pull the wound up fibers off the shaft. This is a frequent problem that has been increasing as the months go by. Now looking for a better built bag by another manufacturer.

Great price for great filters! What makes them great is the fact that you have to assemble them yourself and you can put more carbon (I use Marine land Diamond Blend Activated Carbon/Ammonia Neutralizing Crystals) in then the already assembled ones have (which is not enough). They work well and do a good job.
