Much cheaper to make your own cartridges than to buy pre-assembled and is simple to do. Ive purchased multiple times and will continue to do so.

I purchased under the impression they were filter bags, get the box, I have to assemble them myself. Didnt even know these exist. Be weary

These appear to work well. But since I have bought snails for my tank the filter doesnt seem to have to work as hard.

A great price for something that costs a lot more in pet stores. I have four 5 gallon aquariums for my bettas and spending so much at pet stores for filters was burning a hole in my wallet. When I saw this items for less than $9.00, I just had to have it...Couldnt be more pleased...Fits well in my filters and easy to assemble. In fact, I had purchased two sets and spent a total of $18.00.
