Very economical when we use so many in our 40 gallon Mud Turtle tank to keep it sparkling to MY satisfaction ;~)) Great value, easy to use and ample charcoal in each little foil bag!

Ive used these filters for years and they keep my fish tank nice & clear. The only catch is that they filter so well, I have to clean or replace it every 2 weeks or else the water gets dirtier. Filtering well is not really a negative.

Unfortunately I had to update the amount of stars I rated this product along with my review. The vendor responsible for this item does not have perfect quality control and my box, like those of others per their reviews, had only a single frame, 12 filter bags, but only 6 charcoal bags. Furthermore, the charcoal bags barely filled half the frames. It seems not everyone is experiencing this though so up to you if you will take your chances.

good price and these cartridges are easiest to find, especiaaly in bulk, and easy to assemble keeps tank clean, nice product
