Seem to work as advertised.

I love these things.... and I got more colors than I think Ill ever need for a price of just a few pots of the other stuff (get). I also think these washes are a little more workable than citadel.

These paints are a little thicker than some of the other miniature and figure paints out there (such as Reapers paints). But they work really well. I would recommend using a spray primer on figures before using these paints though if you want a good change at just using a single coat and not needing any touch ups.

Are you a novice miniature painter who wants your stuff to look less crappy? This is magic, literally talent in a bottle. Honestly you could just buy Strong Tone because it’s what you’ll use most of the time but the others come in handy. Apply liberally, soak up pools with your brush and let the magic sauce work.

Excellent kit - includes everything you need in ink wash. Really makes a different when used - adds depth to characters.

Note that on the picture of the box, it shows a can of the Quickshade Strong Tone Varnish. In itty bitty letters that are incredibly likely to be overlooked and are impossible to read, it says that the Quickshade Varnish is not included. I made the mistake of ordering this, expecting to get a small can that I would be able to try out and was sorely disappointed. Nowhere in the written description does it say that the varnish is not included.

Great inks, except for my soft tone seems to had been mixed with to much pigment, large clump on the bottom and no matter how much i shake it there are just large chunks and flakes that come out. If it wasnt for that it would be an easy 5 stars.
