I love using these washes for my minis. The range of colors is very nice and they are thin and always add the perfect amount of hue.

Great inks, except for my soft tone seems to had been mixed with to much pigment, large clump on the bottom and no matter how much i shake it there are just large chunks and flakes that come out. If it wasnt for that it would be an easy 5 stars.

Are you a novice miniature painter who wants your stuff to look less crappy? This is magic, literally talent in a bottle. Honestly you could just buy Strong Tone because it’s what you’ll use most of the time but the others come in handy. Apply liberally, soak up pools with your brush and let the magic sauce work.

This is exactly what I needed. Many people use citadel washes, but I like army painter products. I feel like a dropper bottle is better than a little tub. I don’t have to waste so much with the dropper bottle. And this stuff is perfect for beginners. As being one, I can tell you that this has increased the quality of my minis is far beyond what I could do before I had these. Excellent product, will be going back to army painter for more.

I bought a box of Army Paint a few years back when I started getting into painting miniatures, and the selection/quality of paints provided where pretty great, so when I was looking for some more washes, I naturally went with Army Painter again. Over priced? Without a doubt!!! Acrylic paint isn’t hard to find, but because these paints/washes are “for minis” that makes them more expensive. I only bought the washes because I’m familiar with them. If you know of other ways to give your minis the same effect these washes give, but with different methods, I recommend skipping these entirely.

One of my washes(the red one) came plugged, and trying to get it out, I spilled a LOT of it... all over my painting project... I was peeved, and they didnt do anything about it. So oh well, lesson learned, Use a toothpick to clean the nozzle instead Dont let my review stop you, I do LOVE the stuff! Just wish they would have helped me out a little with that problem.

Army Painter is the best products for how I like to paint...quickly so I can get my minis to the table for game time.

Very easy to use, great quality. It doesnt dry as fast as I had hoped, and pretty often you have to pop small bubbles that form, but its a small price to pay for a product that looks as good as it does
