Love these washes. You can achieve so many more effects with these.

As the booklet shows, the wash gets into the crevices and shows more detail, very happy with the result. Makes the color pop and leaves a nice shine. Worth the price.

Disclaimer: I havent tried any other popular brands of washes/shades yet. However, I see no reason to try any others because I am so happy with these! You can use these with or without adding water, depending on how runny you want your shading. I sometimes add slo-dri/glaze medium instead, which will make them more transparent without thinning the viscosity. The set of colors here is wonderful. The only thing missing, in my opinion, is a nice gold/yellow. I purchased a Golden brand transparent fluid acrylic which Ive used in the situations where I need that color. Otherwise, there is enough variety here to mix virtually any color you need or just use them straight out of the bottle. The only true black tone is the Dark tone, but if you thin it down it can work as a grey. Brown tones are represented in the Strong, Soft, and Flesh tones, varying from very dark to light. Ive completed an entire set of miniatures (over 20) and have not even dented the amount of wash in these bottles. I suspect theyll last for quite some time - a nice feature at a very affordable price.

These are awesome. No longer do I need to make crappy washes that only sort of work. Im never going back! Including a picture of one of my minis after using the wash on it. It makes them look much, much cooler and saves a lot of time on detailing.

These washes added sooo much detail to my boring minis. Cant recommend these or any of the Army Painter products enough!!

Item arrived factory wrapped, brand new and in Store-Shelf condition. These Quick shades make shadows, highlights and shades pop like theyre supposed to bringing great definition to your miniature figures. Great product, definitely recommend for new or experienced painters!

I wanted a range of shade colors to try out. This set has all the shade colors i was looking for. Great purchase imo.
