> 24 hourThis is a great backpack with so many different compartments. I use it for school and I am able to safely keep my laptop in the computer compartment and my keys and phone in the felt lined pocket. It is great for everyday use and has so many features on it that I havent even discovered. I recommend this!

> 24 hourparts of my bag have broken and i have only had it for 6 months, where it was only used for 4 out of those 6 months. It doesn’t allow me to return the bag because it’s passed the return window.

> 24 hourIt was either this, or the Northface Recon. The Recon is a great backpack. I had one for years before I got my Borealis. However, the place where you would place the laptop at the back of the Recon allows your laptop to touch the hard ground when you set the backpack on the ground. Additionally, I found that the Recon had more of a tendency to fall over. Again, the Recon is good, but probably better for hiking than as a commuter backpack. The Borealis suspends the laptop by making the bottom not touch the bottom of the backpack... kind of like a little hammock. The straps are very adjustable, and the part where they attach on top is floppy (in a good way), which makes it a little easier to put the backpack on and also take it off. Overall, very, very good option if you plan to put your laptop in it. One think I dont like is how the very front small pocket doesnt have its zipper at the top of the compartment, rather its in the middle. So if youre trying to access it from an upright position, stuff at the top of the small compartment may fall out. I recommend this laptop.

> 24 hourWhen walking to class during a thunderstorm and heavy rain, my North Face Womens Borealis backpack filled with water, causing my MacBook to experience severe water damage. I really expected better from The North Face, considering they are a quality brand and I spent good money on this quality backpack. To save a couple thousand dollars when walking in the rain, DO NOT BUY.

> 24 hourThe pack is nice, but one shoulder strap started fraying after a month. Warrantees must go through north face. Wait time for a phone call is 1/2 hour. Email took several days all to say that I need to ship it to them for about 6 weeks. For an every day use product, this is terrible. They should just replace the pack.

> 24 hourI used this backpack for my carry-on bag for a trip to London from the U.S. My laptop, camera gear, extra change of clothes, and more easily fit into this backpack. Throughout the trip, the backpack held up and was quite sturdy. I liked the padded section for my laptop as well as the section that is lined so I can put my sunglasses and glasses in them. The side pockets expand nicely for an umbrella or water bottle. I would definitely purchase more North Face items in the future.
