We initially bought the jester backpack for school but found it a little small. This one has so many pockets to help organize things and there is a lot of room to carry stuff. Perfect for school or traveling.

This is a great looking bag that is well designed. Whether its replacement will function w/o breaking is still an open question. The one part of any backpack that is prone to break is the attachment of the shoulder strap to the body of the pack. As you can see in the photo (square box), the strap from this bag is almost entirely separated from the pack. Will this happen to the next bag if I return this to Amazon? Dont know. Id like to give North Face the benefit of the doubt as they are a reputable manufacturer. But if it breaks while my Freshman student starts college, will she have to wait weeks while it is being repaired? I am also annoyed at my favorite retailer, Amazon. This backpack should never have been sent to any customer. Yes, there is a good size blemish (circle), which I would have accepted, but this bag does not function at all. I waited a week for this bag and really liked it. What a hassle.

It is a beautiful bag and pretty color. The capacity is good but I would prefer additional space. Great purchase!

The product is good looking, well-made and practical, whether as a backpack for travel or as a books bag for busy students. There is another version, very similar (about 1 less in all three dimensions) intended for girls. It even has gold lettering rather than the typical white North Face logo. Some girls may prefer the larger bag with the traditional white logo.

I lost my previous Northface bag and it always seemed to have plenty of room. This back is sturdy and looks great but I am not sure if I am doing it wrong or does this bag lack space. I fill in a few small lunch boxes and a water bottle in the front ; the back pouch gets locked out on space. I will go to Northface and see if they can fix it. Else this bag needs to be designed well.

This is a very well made backpack. Sturdier than most, so it should last longer. And nice design. Very happy with the purchase. Would ruchase again.
