> 3 dayI did get my backpack, but the elastic strap on the back looped around the shoulder strap. Making it unusable unless u broke the shoulder strap buckel or cut the elastic stap. So I returned it paying $15 for shipping and never saw it again. Its been a month now and still no backpack. Thanks for wasting my hard earn cash.

Greater than one weekMy niece is a freshman in college and has used this backpack for 4 years and it is still holding up well. No tears or holes. When my middle school daughters other backpack broke after only 3 weeks into the school year, I told her to research a sturdy backpack. The research lead her to The North Face Borealis School Laptop Backpack. This backpack is spacious for laptop, books, and everything else that is needed for school. Its been 3 months so far and she really likes this backpack. I am pleased with this purchase. Yes, it is pricier than other backpacks but the quality and longevity are worth it to me.

I use it for school and I am able to safely keep my laptop in the computer compartment and my keys and phone in the felt lined pocket. It is great for everyday use and has so many features on it that I havent even discovered. I recommend this!

> 3 dayI used this backpack for my carry-on bag for a trip to London from the U.S. My laptop, camera gear, extra change of clothes, and more easily fit into this backpack. Throughout the trip, the backpack held up and was quite sturdy. I liked the padded section for my laptop as well as the section that is lined so I can put my sunglasses and glasses in them. The side pockets expand nicely for an umbrella or water bottle. I would definitely purchase more North Face items in the future.

Greater than one weekI had my backpack for less than a year and one strap already ripped and I never even carry anything heavy in it, North Face said that is normal wear and tear and did not honor their warranty
